Terms and Conditions

PRIVACY NOTICE. No information about any client will be discussed or shared with any third party without written consent of the client or parent/guardian if the client is under 18.

PAYMENT TERMS. Payment in full is required at the time of booking via PayPal, Venmo, or credit card to reserve  appointment date/time. Delaying payment may result in another client securing your desired date/time. If payment in full is not received at least 24 hours prior to appointment date/time, session will automatically be cancelled. Remitted payment implies client's agreement to all Terms and Conditions herein.

EARLY OR LATE ARRIVALS. If arriving early, please wait for practitioner in the waiting room. If late for appointment, practitioner will attempt to offer the best possible service within the time left; however appointment will not extend past the originally scheduled appointment end time. Clients will not receive a refund for any portion of their missed appointment time.

NO SHOWS. A client is considered a no-show if 15 minutes has elapsed since the start of their appointment and they have not arrived at the appointment location. Now shows will not be refunded and will forfeit any monies paid for the session.

CANCELLATIONS. Clients are encouraged to reschedule rather than cancel appointments. Clients have up to 48 hours prior to their session start time to reschedule their appointment. Please note: After TWO (2) consecutive reschedules, the client's appointment will be marked as cancelled and the client forfeits any monies that have been paid. If the client wishes to schedule another appointment, they will not be credited for any monies paid to secure the rescheduled appointment(s).

PRICES. Prices listed for sessions are subject to change without prior notification; however, price at time of booking is honored.

REFUSAL TO TREAT. Practitioner has the right to refuse or discontinue a session at any point. Circumstances where this may apply include, but are not limited to:
  • Client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs
  • Client behaves in an inappropriate or offensive manner
  • Client is or becomes unwell (e.g. fever, digestive upset, allergic reaction, seizure, fainting)
  • COVID restrictions

CHILDREN. Clients under the age of 18 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be asked to sign for consent. They will also be asked to remain present for the duration of session.

MEDICAL ISSUES. Reiki is a complementary therapy in that it works alongside other medical and therapeutic techniques, and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. At no time will a client be encouraged to stop medical treatment or reduce or change their prescription drugs without prior discussion with a GP or consultant first.

GUARANTEES. There are several complex factors influencing the success of Reiki treatments. While benefits are typically observed in the majority of cases, there can be no guarantees of success or cure in relation to a condition or its treatment. If a client's nervous system has been dysregulated for a prolonged period of time, relaxation could be perceived as uncomfortable at first. In addition, there are times when an improvement in balance and energy flow can create discomfort for a period of time after treatment, and client may wonder why they feel worse instead of better. This is temporary, and can be a positive indication of healing. Typically, both scenarios improve as your therapy and healing journey progresses. Your feelings are natural and related to your perception of your experience. Long-term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions in order to facilitate noticeable improvements.
